THE LENS · Luis Carlos García
An internationally published photographer and filmmaker with nearly 30 years behind the camera, Luis's work and collaborations span National Geographic, the Smithsonian, UNICEF, hospitality, commercial brands, live events and cultural storytelling. He brings an editorial and documentary eye to brand photography—creating polished images that illuminate the uniqueness of the human being inside them.

A great photograph isn't only about where you stand or what you wear. It's about knowing what you want the image to say. Monica joins Luis on set as creative director, helping you get clear on what you want to communicate and translate who you are now into the visual story you're creating.

THE SPACE · Glass House
Glass House is a private events space for business gatherings, ceremonies, and cultural exploration; a center for happenings in the Minneapolis creative community; and a space to amplify voices and foster fresh ideas.
Modern architecture, abundant natural light and multiple distinctive environments make Glass House a stunning backdrop for our shoot.
And there’s another layer: Glass House is home to a working glassblowing studio, where the lighting fixtures found throughout the venue are created by hand. From the glowing pendants overhead to the sculptural details throughout the space, the artistry isn’t simply displayed here - it’s made here.

Chef Jeff Catering is a family-run, full-service catering company serving the Twin Cities. Chef Jeff Riley founded the company over 20 years ago, building it around great food, hard work, and taking care of people. Today, his daughter Amber carries that legacy forward, continuing to grow the company while staying rooted in thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and taking great care of our clients from start to finish.

Parking is free and available on site at Glass House.

Up to two looks, plus any small props or brand elements you’d genuinely use in your work. We’ll share additional preparation details with registered guests before the event, including make-up and photography schedule. Specific scheduling requests may be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

Yes! Brand Refresh guests are welcome to use Glass House as a home base during the day. Coffee, water and soft drinks will be available.

You'll receive a photo library via Google Drive no later than Tuesday, October 6th.

Lunch is not included. You’re welcome to bring something with you, or order Doordash with the group at midday.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included. Alcoholic beverages will be available for individual purchase at the Glass House bar.
